Pablo is a tricoloured male guinea pig with a medium length coat born in 2012 who was recently neutered (July 2018) after his brother died. He has come to live in one of our new sheds with our maleless group of lady pigs and now has free run of the shed with them as we are now satisfied that he is firing blanks, but at first he was in a cage next to them. We would not recommend neutering a guinea pig of this age and we have concerns about his ability to recover fully from the operation but hopefully he will enjoy his retirement so much that he forgets to feel old. He is in remarkably good condition for his age. He certainly seems to be enjoying his new life so far.
