Ethel was a tricoloured female guinea pig with a medium length coat. She was born in 2014 or at the end of 2013. She came to us as her owner had badly broken her leg and was in hospital, in a box with three other females and her brother so she might have been pregnant, but wasn’t although one of the others was. She lived with Gordon and the other females she arrived with in one of the villages for years, but by the end of her life only Felicity and the babies that are no longer babies remained, and she lived outside in one of the new sheds with newer arrivals.
She had had a bladder infection that seemed to respond well to treatment, the bleeding stopped, but from thereon she steadily lost weight and didn’t respond to further treatment and died in August 2018.
